Optimization and Simulation of Acoustic Diffuser Surfaces for Enhanced Sound Distribution by Matlab
Abstract
In this study, the design and simulation of two-dimensional diffuser surfaces for acoustic performance improvement were performed. The diffuser designs optimized with different geometries and parameters using Matlab software focused on homogenizing the acoustic energy distribution. The study aimed to determine the optimal diffuser structures by analyzing how sound changes direction when it hits the surfaces. The data obtained during the simulations revealed the effects of diffuser geometry on the frequency response in detail. In addition, the usability of the designs in practical applications was evaluated and the effectiveness of theoretical models was tested in real-world conditions. This comprehensive approach provides valuable information in both engineering calculations and acoustic design processes.
